Most of the year my sky is mundane. The heat makes me feel like an ant under a magnifying glass, when i have to head out i quickly rush from one cover to the other trying not to stay out for long ...always looking down because there is nothing to look above other than the blinding sun blasting radiation.Being outside during the day is a punishment most time of the year. But for a couple months in the year during monsoon my sky comes alive. starts off slow with white puffy clouds just adding drama by casting shadows and cooling things in general with colourful sunrise and sunsets leading upto peak monsoon with heavy rains where you can see only 30 feet in any direction. between both these event for a time frame of a couple days comes my favourite time of the year : thunderstorm season. The raw chaotic power of nature is at full displayduring a thunder storm. I cant really explain but nothing engages my senses as much as when iam witnessing a thunderstorm. When I see a brilliant travelling bolt lightup the sky overhead and feel the ground rumble beneath my feet from the thunder my senses are most heightened with a unique mix awe and wonder. For that moment eveything fades away...I dont think about my problems or acomplishments or anything about my life...strangely during this moment of dissociatioin is when I feel most alive.
